Whitewood beads come from the wild mamalis (pangantuon) trees growing in the Philippines. It is a natural whitewood. Here, the natural ivory to off white color is preserved to produce beautiful beads with a nearly perfect finish. The decorative markings here are hand-carved, deep spiral grooves. These beads are lightweight and will bring lots of texture and visual movement to your design.
